Here's a great blog i found that explains a lot of the OHSS process.
i love the name: stirrup-queens! i might come up with a top ten list: You know you're a stirrup-queen when ... you automatically undress from the waist down and scoot to the end of the table regardless of whose office you're in.
today was much better! i woke up to find a teeny tiny fat roll just above my stomach! i hurried to the bathroom to pee and then jump on the scale. a funny sight at best. (picture weeble wobbles) weebles can wobble, but they don't fall down, just bounce off walls! so, the scale said i lost another 2 pounds overnight. i'm so happy and i lost almost an inch in girth.
i'm happy that i can start to feel a difference. my day didn't stay so great though. i became very nauseated and started to feel all kinds of cramps. everything hurt. i tried to fight off the nausea by myself, but gave in around 9 am and took the phenergan. i nodded out around 10 am then woke up at 4 pm. i was suprised that i slept so long, but i must have needed it. i weighed in again and found that i lost another pound. Yay! I thought for sure that i would look different, but when i checked, i still looked six months pregnant. i've decided to not care anymore about how i look, but this week i'm going to have to put on some real clothes and i don't think i have anything to accomodate a 40 inch waist. perhaps i can convince a friend to take me shopping ... hint hint, anyone? i'm still on driving restriction so that my ovaries don't get banged around and damaged.
