Alright, you have me crying! My grandfather died in WWII when my mom was 2 years old. He died in a battle in Me.tz France. Last year, the main reason my husband and I decided to go to Paris was to make a two hour trip over to see where he was buried. My mom has never been there, and we took several pictures for her. To say it was emotional was an understatement. I'll never forget that trip. My husband and I now arrange for flowers to be put on him grave for holidays at the cemetary he and others are buried at. Thanks for sharing that song!
I really appreciated receiving this web link too. My grandfather served in the Philippines and he always had great fun stories to tell, until he got sick. He fought lymphoma for years and he cried every-time he talked about the days that he served and the men that died. It broke my heart to see that. We think we have it bad today until we remember what those families went through half a century ago. Always, always, always remember and honor our veterans.
Thank you, God, for blessing us with a successful full term pregnancy and for helping me recognize and receive your guidance and healing power as our baby grows in my womb. I know that we are being blessed with a beautiful, healthy baby, and I thank you for your loving presence in our lives. Amen.
